FDA: The Real Cost (Epidemic)
While cigarette use among teens is at an all-time low, experimentation with vaping is rising rapidly. One of the reasons for this is that teens have a consequence-free mentality when it comes to vaping — despite the growing scientific evidence that vapes can put dangerous chemicals into your body.
So, with a robust digital and social campaign — the first national effort of its kind — The Real Cost and Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky are sounding the alarm, depicting vaping not only as a social epidemic, but also as a biological one.
In less than three weeks, the campaign was viewed over 1.4 million times on YouTube, receiving coverage in more than 170 media outlets, including USA Today, CNN, NBC News, Chicago Tribune, and Fortune.
