FCB New York is a paradox. We are a two-year-old start-up with a 145-year history. But to us that’s not a contradiction, it’s a proof point, speaking volumes about our philosophy that true creativity is Never Finished. So therefore, we are never finished. Always pushing, learning, growing and evolving. Bringing in an entirely new C-suite, hiring a diverse set of thinkers from an equally diverse set of skill sets and backgrounds. And yet we still remain true to who we are, because if you think about it, the greatest brands are the ones that don’t do one-offs. They are the ones that build legacies. Ideas that can last years, if not decades. And at FCB, that’s the kind of work we strive to create.
How we’re getting there is by having a very clear vision and even clearer goals. In fact, it is our intent to become the most collaborative agency in the world. Sure, a lot of agencies try to say it, but once you put them on a roster with others, it becomes a landgrab. That’s not how we roll. We are small. And because we are small, we can’t do everything. We admit it. Happily. But what we can do is offer up some of the most brilliant, unexpected partners whom we love to work with in order to create the kinds of game-changing, world-changing ideas we are after. The other thing we do is check our egos at the door and invite everyone to the table as equals. That’s our operating system both inside and out. It’s our ethos. Everyone is a creative. No matter what department you work in or which agency. It’s all hands and brains on deck. Clients included. Because that’s how we get to brilliance. Together.
